The teaching
The ninth plague buried Egypt in darkness so thick no one could move. Yet Bnei Yisrael had light in their dwellings — slaves, illuminated from within.
In tai chi, we learn this same paradox. Deep relaxation under pressure doesn't mean collapse — it means your root holds through release, not tension. Weight pressing down, spine still rising. Stillness at the center.
Pharaoh controlled the bricks. He never touched the inner breath.
So right now — feel your feet on the ground. Let the weight drop. One breath, nothing to fix.
That light in the darkness? It was always yours.
