The teaching
Noach didn't fight the flood. He built an ark.
The waters came from above and below simultaneously — that's the shape of overwhelm. It never arrives from one direction.
In Hebrew, the word for ark is teivah — which also means "word." Structure. Form. Something that holds.
In Tai Chi we call this sung: not collapse, not bracing — releasing into rootedness.
Stand now. Let the shoulders drop like water finding its level. Inhale four counts. Exhale six. The body becomes a vessel that holds stillness inside the storm.
The flood doesn't stop. You learn to float.
