The teaching
Moshe saw the burning bush — and tried to talk his way out of it.
In Shemot, Hashem calls. Moshe answers: send someone else. The Sforno teaches he wasn't afraid of failure. He was afraid of his own greatness. He'd grown comfortable. The calling felt too exposing.
In standing practice, the body shows you the same thing. Hold the posture — shoulders rise, breath shortens, the frame braces. You're resisting something that hasn't touched you yet. Resisting your own capacity.
The bush doesn't burn out. Real callings never do.
Soften the shoulders. Drop the breath low. Turn toward the fire.
