The teaching
Nadav and Avihu brought fire to God — and it killed them.
Parshat Shemini tells us Aharon's two sons offered what the Torah calls strange fire. The Talmud says they entered unprepared — pure intensity, no structure to hold it.
In zhan zhuang, you stand still while your legs burn and your mind screams to move. This is the ancient lesson: power must pass through a rooted frame before it becomes real. Weight sinks into the feet first. Only then does energy rise.
The eighth day required order meeting presence — in that sequence.
Before you reach upward — plant your feet. Three breaths, rooted. Then rise.
